Author’s Note: This is an intimate and unprecedented look into my plotting methods, including the kind of outline and notes I might use when creating a serial/book. Back in 2011, when I seriously started writing, I was a pantser. Then I swung to being a plotter. Now, I’m somewhere in between. I usually start out with a very clear idea of what I’m going to do and how I’m going to do it, however, I’m a firm believer that a plot should evolve as the story progresses on paper.
The current published draft has 41 episodes instead of 25 chapters, and the timeline has been altered because my feeling while writing it was that the pacing was off. Also, the length of these chapters would have been 4,200-5,000 words+ instead of the average 3,000 word chapters I ended up with.
Please enjoy.
It should go without saying, but…spoilers ahead!
